Disabled dogs & cats
Pets that are blind, deaf, missing a leg or paws, cats that have cerebral hypoplasia(known as falling down cats),ect.Do live happy & full lives if given the chance. They don't dwell on or even act as if they have these disabilities. They play very actively.Just keep in tune with their surroundings to keep them safe,be careful that they do not get outside without you.Try not to change things in your home too much with the blind-start to teach signals with your hands to the deaf. These are just a few tips.

RE: Disabled dogs & cats
When your dog is unable to use his hind legs, you will find yourself lifting him often---putting him up into the car, lifting him into his wheelchair and raising him onto the vet's exam table. There are many products available to help you lift your small or large disabled dog. Slings, harnesses and whole body support suits give you a handle on hefting your pet.
